San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) promotes the development of language and cultural appreciation and cross-cultural understanding. The Biliteracy Awards advance the commitment of SJCOE to all students that they graduate prepared and equipped with the knowledge and skills to participate successfully in college, career and in a global, diverse and multilingual 21st Century society.
