Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute

Approximately 10 teachers from San Joaquin County will be selected to receive scholarships to attend the week-long institute in Summer of 2020.

Teachers who are selected will travel to Colonial Williamsburg, engage with historical character interpreters, and become a part of the Revolutionary City. Master teachers and historians guide participants through interdisciplinary learning in Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and Yorktown. Participants engage in activities and develop instructional materials that will be shared with other teachers for use in classrooms.
