Please Join Us for Our 6th Annual ECE Conference

January 27-28 at the San Joaquin County Office of Education

Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Early Childhood Education Conference. The theme this year is Play: Learning in Action. The sessions are designed to support early educators in family childcare and center-based settings and will focus on the important role of play. Participants will learn new skills and strategies to promote children's learning through play. 

Participants will also have the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker, Julie Nicholson, on Friday from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.. Julie Nicholson, Ph.D. has been a Professor of Practice in the School of Education at Mills College since 2005 and directed several innovative programs including the Leadership Program in Early Childhood Educational Leadership Program and the Center for Play research. During the three sessions on Saturday from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m., Lisa Murphy will be presenting on various topics - such as being child centered, outdoor play experiences, and seven things to do each day with children to support higher learning. Lisa Murphy has been in the field of early childhood education for over 30 years. She is the founder and CEO of OOEY GOOEY, Inc where her mission is to assist in the transformation of the profession by providing relevant & meaningful workshops. Register and complete your full payment before December 31, 2022 to receive the early bird rate of $30. Any registrations after December 31 will pay the regular rate of $40, and your full payment must be made by January 20, 2023.
