Venture Academy

Chartered by the San Joaquin County Board of Education, Venture Academy is one of the largest charter school in San Joaquin County. Serving K-12 students, the school offers programs featuring flexible schedules and focus sites that develop students’ academic progress and imaginations.

The school was originally developed to serve home-school students with structured support services. Home-school students continue to play an important role in Venture Academy relying on teachers for lesson plans, academic counseling, and extra curricular opportunities.

Focus sites house student enrolled in a modified daily attendance program which offers shorter hours than traditional school sites, enhanced focus areas, and plenty of learning outside the classroom.
