Employees of San Joaquin County Office of Education expressed their generosity and kindness this holiday season by providing gifts for 125 youth in the Stockton, Lathrop, and Manteca communities whose families could not financially afford a Christmas wish.
Gifts were delivered to Captain Christian Sibaja at the Salvation Army San Joaquin Center for community distribution on Dec. 22.
This is the 4th year SJCOE employees have participated in the Salvation Army Paper Angel Tree Program, an opportunity to give to those in need and create lasting and meaningful memories.
Approximately 1,300 youth in San Joaquin County received gifts from various agencies and the community this holiday season.
