CAC is a state of the art, 10,000 square-foot facility featuring 100 stations, facial room, theory room, and much more, located at 3314 Delaware Ave, Stockton, CA 95204. It’s designed to teach current theory and practical applications in a precise and exciting manner that will prepare students for the State Board Exam and a career in cosmetology. Students will learn hair cutting, hair coloring, facials, nails, communication skills, and much more.

Students are required to clock 1,600 hours of technical instruction and required operations. Classes are offered Monday through Friday during the day (8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) or in the evening (3:30 to 8:30 p.m.).
To enroll, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as complete an interview with the Student Account Representative to determine desire, ability and commitment to the program, review the current school catalog, and complete and sign registration forms.

About Career Academy of Cosmetology:
San Joaquin County Office of Education CAC combines the allure of high fashion with hairdressing, adapting couture styles to the individual tastes and preferences of each client. More than just classrooms and techniques, the sleek design and progressive curriculum immerses students in a unique environment and provides an exceptional learning experience. Three professional cosmetologists who are also certificated instructors teach the classes. Among them, the instructors themselves have attended academies from such prominent professionals as Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy, Sebastian, Robert Cromeans, and Trevor Sorbie.
At regularly scheduled times, the students participate in a mock state board exam as a means of self-assessment of their strengths and weaknesses. In addition, the public is invited to make appointments for personal services at reduced rates so that the students may practice their skills and start building professional relationships. The objective of the program is to surpass the criteria necessary for students to meet state guidelines and pass the state exam required to obtain a cosmetology license.
