Professional Development Trainings

As one of California's 58 county offices of education, the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) supports districts by performing tasks that can be done more economically at the county level, from fiscal oversight to facilitating professional development opportunities for educators.

The SJCOE's five-year strategic plan, Building to Serve, outlines the main priorities of the organization. Among the priorities, Instructional Leadership is clearly defined as providing quality professional development opportunities for local districts and educators. On any given day, the Stockton Campus is bustling with skills training sessions, professional growth opportunities, communities of practice, continuing education and career development instruction.
