Mathematics

The SJCOE Mathematics department's mission is to promote high-quality mathematics instruction in San Joaquin County by providing professional learning in the California State Standards for mathematics in the areas of curriculum, instruction, 21st-century pedagogy, and assessment. The department provides professional learning services for teachers, instructional leaders, and administrators. Services include customized professional learning, on-site instructional coaching, lesson study, and the most up-to-date information on the state of mathematics education. In addition, national and regional leaders in the areas of mathematics instruction are invited to share their expertise to develop the capacity of SJCOE math educators.
