Programs & Services
Head Start San Joaquin (HSSJ) and its partners support families and children up to age 5 through two core programs:
- Early Head Start: For pregnant mothers and children from birth to age 3.
- Head Start: For children ages 3 to 5 years old (prior to entering kindergarten).
Both programs offer two learning options for families:
- Home-based Services: A dedicated parent educator conducts regular family visits to support and strengthen parent-child relationships and engage families around children’s learning and development.
- Center-based Services: Your child learns in a traditional classroom setting with peers.
