Early Childhood Education Conference

Please join us on Jan. 22 for a community forum and Jan. 23 for our annual ECE conference!

WELCOMING ALL CHILDREN: CELEBRATING OUR DIVERSITY AND STRENGTHENING CONNECTIONS IN OUR COMMUNITY

The fourth annual Early Childhood Education (ECE) conference format looks a little different this year.  That’s because we have adapted the conference to offer virtual sessions for early learning and care providers, plus we have added a community forum which the wider community is invited to attend.

COMMUNITY FORUM

 FRIDAY, JAN. 22 | 6 P.M. | FREE

A free community forum will be held on Jan. 22 at 6 p.m., with Dr. Rosemarie Allen, who will highlight the importance of early childhood in ensuring all children are honored, celebrated, and connected.  Business leaders, law enforcement, medical professionals, faith-based community leaders, mental health professionals, K-12 educators and administrators, and early learning and care providers are invited to attend. To RSVP for the forum, please visit https://conta.cc/2XhzgiM.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

SATURDAY, JAN. 23 | 9 A.M. | $25

Early learning and care providers are also encouraged to register for the conference breakout sessions on Jan. 23.  The sessions include guest speakers Sandy Avzaradel and Kathy Wahl, who will focus on understanding the science and best practices to support all children's mental health and wellness and inclusion strategies to build a culture of welcoming and belonging in the classroom and school.  To register for the breakout sessions, please visit https://conta.cc/3opDf8S.
