Curriculum Breakfast: Featuring Dr. Angela Pharris

In this session, you will learn practical knowledge about the science and power of hope and its core tenets of goals, pathways, and agency thinking.

Join us on February 16th for our Curriculum Breakfast - “Hope Centered and Trauma Informed” featuring Dr. Angela Pharris, Director of the Center for Child Welfare Training, Assistant Professor, and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oklahoma’s Hope Research Center.

 “Hope is a psychological strength and a buffer to stress, adversity, and burnout. It improves organizational and individual outcomes.” 

From Dr. Pharris’s keynote you will:

  • Learn practical knowledge about the science and power of hope and its core tenants of goals, pathways, and agency thinking.
  • Consider how hope impacts individual and collective experiences.
  • Gain knowledge about how your team, school, or district can develop a shared language to use hope in everyday settings.
