Classified Employees and Teacher of the Year Honorees

Awards celebrate exemplary educational staff in the classroom and in support positions

The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) is pleased to announce this year’s San Joaquin County Classified Employee of the Year award winners and the San Joaquin County Teacher of the Year award finalists.

The annual awards honor the best of the best in the education profession and celebrate the talented, caring, and committed educators and school personnel who make a difference in the lives of their students and in the community.

All finalists and winners will be honored at a virtual ceremony on June 3, when the San Joaquin County Teacher of the Year will be announced. Each Classified Employee of the Year award winner and Teacher of the Year award finalist will receive $400. The Teacher of the Year will receive $1,000. Award money is courtesy of Premier Community Credit Union, a longtime supporter and sponsor of these recognition programs in San Joaquin County.

Winners of San Joaquin County Teacher of the Year and Classified Employees of the Year are county nominees for California Department of Education recognition programs.
