The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) is seeking caring, creative, flexible, and motivated individuals for permanent and substitute instructional assistant positions at sites throughout San Joaquin County. As an instructional assistant, you will make a difference by fulfilling an important role in assisting teachers with the instruction and supervision of children and young adults with special education needs.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following criteria:
1. Pass a basic skills proficiency exam administered by the SJCOE, or
2. Have earned 48 college semester units with a C- or better, or completed an AA degree or higher.
