Preview Day at TCSJ

Learn all about what it takes to be a student at Teachers College of San Joaquin on Dec. 1

The Teachers College of San Joaquin (TCSJ) is holding Preview Day on Saturday, Dec. 1, for prospective students interested in learning about the college and how it can help them start or grow their career in education. The TCSJ is part of the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) and housed within the SJCOE campus in Stockton.

In addition to providing information about TCSJ's teaching credential programs, the open house will be a resource for current teachers interested in pursuing a master’s degree in education (M.Ed.), or becoming an administrator. The event will consist of a continental breakfast, information sessions, mock classes, and a question-and-answer session with current students.

TCSJ credential programs include the Administrative Services Credential Program and the IMPACT Teaching Credential Program, which allows teachers to work as interns while earning their credential. The college's five M.Ed. concentrations allows students to pursue a master's degree in a concentration of their choice, such as special education or STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

Preview Day is on Dec. 1, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., at TCSJ, 2857 Transworld Drive, Stockton.
