CONNECT* COLLABORATE * CUSTOMIZE
The purpose of this series of webinars and meetings is to create systemic change for our programs which serve Dually Identified students. Together we will use the CA Practitioners’ Guide to Educating English Learners with Disabilities to learn about the updated policies and procedures used to identify, refer, assess, and reclassify English learners with disabilities. We will connect and collaborate to leverage knowledge across departments and districts. We will learn about the many new resources and tools provided throughout the guide. Districts will have the opportunity to customize and update their policies and procedures appropriate their context.
The Language & Literacy Department invites your district to assemble a small working cohort of invested colleagues willing to devote their time to this process.
