Number Talks can create powerful learning environment when done regularly. Students have the potential to develop robust understanding, thus becoming confident and competent mathematical thinkers.
Number Talks is also a great tool to build fluency (automaticity, flexibility, strategies and accuracy) in all four operations in whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percent from grades 3 to high school support classes.
