Administrative Credential
Two Administrative Credential programs, SJCOE/UOP Blended Credential Masters Program, and the SJCOE Credential Only option offer local educators an opportunity to receive a master’s degree and an administrative credential here in only 14 months through a partnership with the University of the Pacific. For those wishing to obtain an administrative credential only can also be accomplished here at SJCOE through Teacher Development. Although these two Administrative Services Credential Programs are fast paced – only 14 months in duration, candidates in either program will find the structure and support needed to be successful. Participants take all courses in a cohort setting and work together to ensure success for all. Additionally, candidates are further supported in extended fieldwork experience as they work alongside skilled, veteran administrators. Teachers with a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience who are willing and have the permission of their current site administrator to be released from their classroom one day each week are encouraged to apply.
