Under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent Gary Dei Rossi, Ed.D., Student Programs and Services unites County Operated Schools and Programs, Educational Services, and SELPA/Special Education to help foster collaboration and shared efficiencies.

Student Programs and Services works to help foster awareness and understanding of education issues and SJCOE programs. Additionally, it also focuses on charter school issues by managing the relationship between the County Office and charter schools authorized by the County Board of Education and conducting procedures necessary for review of charter school proposals that fail at local school districts and are appealed to the County Board.
