SB 472 Training (AB466)

San Joaquin Reading Implementation Center offers 40-hour (5-day) SB 472 professional development institutes specific to the state-adopted reading/language arts programs Open Court and Houghton Mifflin (K-6). Institutes are planned and centrally located throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Participants study all components of the program and learn how each component works together to create a complete, comprehensive program. In addition, the participants learn scientific research behind the program as it relates to actual classroom practices.
