Fifth-Grade Teacher Named County Teacher of the Year

Lodi Unified School District teacher passionate for the success of all students

The San Joaquin County Office of Education would like to congratulate Adrianne Go-Miller, the 2016-17 San Joaquin County Teacher of the Year.

The fifth-grade teacher challenges her students at Elkhorn School to think for themselves, and she is dedicated to ensuring all students succeed.  Her dedication to education goes beyond her classroom, which she has shown through her commitment to encourage parent involvement and by driving school-wide efforts at Elkhorn. It is for these reasons and more that Go-Miller received this year’s award.

The winner was announced at the Sixth Annual San Joaquin County Classified Employee and Teacher of the Year Awards Celebration Dinner on Thursday, June 9.

Before the announcement, there was a screening of short features of each of the Teacher of the Year nominees and each Classified Employee of the Year winner.
