Paper Angel Tree Campaign

SJCOE employees partner with the Salvation Army this holiday season

Salvation Army Paper Angel Trees are on display in the Wentworth Education Center and Nelson Center lobbies.

Each white paper angel represents a young person in our community who is in need this holiday season.  Information about the young person is written on the angel, which includes their name, age, gender, clothing sizes and a toy request.

Select a white angel(s) from the tree and purchase ONE clothing item and ONE toy item listed on the angel.  Place items (unwrapped) in a gift bag with the white paper angel attached.  Deliver items to one of the Executive Assistants listed below:

  • Marlene Flau, SELPA/Special Education
  • Kelly Fry, Student Programs and Services
  • Janesse Hodgson, Education Services
  • Denise Irvin, Administration
  • Deanna Moreno, County Operated Schools and Programs
  • Linda Monegan, Business Services

After taking an angel off the tree, ask Lorena Moreno (Wentworth Education Center) or Linda Schurg (Nelson Center) for a colored paper angel. Write your name and angel number on the back of the colored angel and hang it on the tree in place of the white paper angel you selected.

Gifts are due by Monday, December 15th.  Help us turn our trees from white to GREEN and RED this holiday season!
