Students from San Joaquin County Office of Education's New Energy Academy, part of Venture Academy Family of Schools ImagineIT program, attended and presented at the annual Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce REXPO X Recycling Exposition at the Stockton Hilton in March. The students came dressed for success and brought their Zero Net Energy Solar Home models and tri-fold boards to share with the interested public.
The students attended several keynote speaker sessions and learned about what Stockton businesses and legislators are doing to advance green and sustainable careers and business opportunities in our area. New Energy Academy students received multiple compliments on their professionalism throughout the event.
