RIBBON CUTTING | REFRESHMENTS | INTERACTIVE TOUR

Build, create, design, engineer, make, print, tinker, and wire at the SJCOE's new FabLab!

The San Joaquin County Office of Education invites you to explore our new fabrication lab at the grand opening on March 7 at 4:30 p.m at the Career and Technical Education Center, 2911 Transworld Drive, Stockton.

The FabLab gets students excited about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through hands-on, integrated, standards-driven engineering projects.  At the FabLab, students can wire something that glows, build something that moves, design a new app, and create practically anything they can imagine.

The grand opening will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, refreshments, and an interactive tour of the lab’s augmented-reality stations, 3D printers, CNC milling machines, laser cutters, micro-controllers, Lego wall, robots, and more.  Come see what the FabLab has to offer our Central Valley students and experience firsthand the future of STEM in San Joaquin County.
