Venture Academy Family of Schools (VAFS) students who are part of the Venture’s Outstanding Leadership Team (VOLT) are hosting the second annual Jingle Bell 5K Fun Run with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Women’s Center Youth & Family Services. This year VAFS is expecting around 200 student, parent, and SJCOE staff participants in the Fun Run. Representatives from the shelter are also invited to attend and participate. Last year the students were able to donate more than $1,400 to the Women’s Center, along with a box of toys.
