The San Joaquin County Office of Education Office of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) is in need of judges for the 2016 SJCOE Science and Engineering Fair. Judges will be given a brief training at the fair prior to the start of their scheduled time slot. Training will consist of information on how to differentiate expectations according to grade level plans, as well as an overview of the scoring rubric. A light meal will be provided. It is suggested that potential judges have a degree in and/or are currently working in the following fields: biological sciences, environmental sciences, computer sciences, physical sciences, or engineering.
The Science and Engineering Fair is Feb. 27 – March 3. The following judging time slots are available:
Sat., Feb. 27:

8 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.

11 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.

1 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.

All Day
Mon., Feb. 29:
• 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. (or when finished)
