3,900 Third-Graders Ready for AgVenture

Students from 48 schools in eight districts to learn about farming, nutrition, and much more

Students will tour Manteca Unified School District (MUSD) School Farm and experience agriculture through presentations of plants, animals, and farm machinery while learning about food grown right in their home towns. By forming connections between the food on their plates and the crops grown in the county, students learn how agriculture impacts their daily lives. Students from Banta Elementary, Escalon Unified, Jefferson Elementary, Lammersville Unified, Manteca Unified, New Jerusalem Elementary, Ripon Unified and Tracy Unified school districts will participate.
