Paquet spoke about some of the exciting careers that students can have if they pursue a career in athletic training. He informed the students of the education requirements and different degree majors for an athletic training career.
The students listened to Paquet describe a typical day through various times of the year such as training camps, practice days, game days, or road trips. Paquet also stressed the importance of professionalism, including dressing professionally and networking. Teacher Heather Fogg said that several students are now considering majoring in exercise science and looking into a career as an athletic trainer.
