The school continues to create deep ties to its community by focusing on performing arts and integrating it throughout the curriculum. As a site of San Joaquin County Office of Education, one.Charter – Academy of Visual and Performing Arts is a free public charter school that embraces and encourages artistic creativity and offers a unique balance of academic and in-depth instruction in the performing arts. Through the passion and expertise of its current teaching staff, additional performing arts courses are offered in the afternoon, including percussion, guitar, voice, spoken word, and sound recording.
