SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY 4-6 MATH OLYMPIAD RESULTS

Anthony Traina wins first-place in fourth annual County Math Olympiad

The fourth annual San Joaquin County Math Olympiad Competition for grades four through six was held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. Nearly 200 students made up 31 teams of mathletes who participated in this high-energy competition. Students competed both individually and as a team.

Top five teams:

1st:  Anthony Traina Elementary – Team #13, Jefferson Elementary School District
2nd: Jefferson Elementary – Team #7, Jefferson Elementary School District
3rd:  Jefferson Elementary – Team #22, Jefferson Elementary School District
4th:  Brookside Elementary – Team #17, Lincoln Unified School District
5th:  Rio Calaveras Elementary – Team #26, Stockton Unified School District
