SEIS team is wrapping up their winter 2013-14 implementation season

It is mid-April and CEDR's SEIS team is wrapping up their winter 2013-14 implementation season. Our SEIS trainers have been traveling to various locations throughout California all the way from Northern California to Southern California as well as the San Francisco Bay Area. We are welcoming aboard Yuba County SELPA, Oakland Unified School District, Sonoma County SELPA, Corona Norco SELPA and Lynwood Unified School District.

As the winter season wraps up, the summer season begins.  Implementation meetings have already been held for North Coastal SELPA and Chula Vista, both in San Diego County, and four more presentations are on the books to be held within the next few weeks.

Since its creation and launch here in SJCOE back in 2003, SEIS has grown by an average of 10 SELPAs/districts per year, and now serves nearly 100 SELPAs, representing nearly 1000 California school districts!  When we talk with a new SELPA we very often hear "Wow!  You folks in San Joaquin County have some really great stuff going on!"   And they are right.
