"You Start with a Bag of Clay" at the Chavez Library

On Saturday, November 7, at 2 p.m. the Cesar Chavez Central Library presents "You Start with a Bag of Clay," a special program for adults and children.

A representative from San Joaquin Pottery Guild will discuss how to create works of art, starting with a bag of clay. No hands-on instruction will be provided, but the audience will learn about crafting pottery. Samples of Pottery Guild work will be on display. At the same time that adults meet, children will gather for pottery-related stories and crafts with a librarian in charge.
