San Joaquin County Office of Education invites all public and private county schools to participate in this year’s Science Olympiad. There are three levels of competition available: Division A2 for grades 3-6, Division B for grades 6-9, and Division C for grades 9-12.
Science Olympiad tournaments are rigorous academic interscholastic competitions that consist of a series of individual and team events. Events require knowledge of science facts, concepts, process skills, and science applications.
The A2 regional competition will be held in Stockton at McNair High School on March 27, and the B and C regional competitions will be held at University of the Pacific on March 6. Intents to participate are due on or before December 4.
