Student spellers in grades four through nine from schools throughout the county are invited to participate in the 13th Annual San Joaquin County Spelling Bee.
The first round will be held on December 7 from 4–5 p.m., and the championship round will be held on December 9. Both rounds will be at San Joaquin County Office of Education, Education Service Center, 2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton.
Winners and runners-up will represent San Joaquin County at the State Spelling Bee Championship in May of 2010.
