English Language Acquisition and Development
ELDP (SB 472) SB 471 English Learners Professional Development English Learners Professional Development (ELPD) provides 40 hours of professional development intended to be follow-up training to the initial 40 hours of core curriculum provided by SB 472. This program will include foundational knowledge specifically designed to assist English Learners (EL) pupils to meet the language and academic instructional needs of reading/language arts and content area instruction. This training also helps teachers of EL pupils understand and apply knowledge of linguistic structures to adopted instructional materials.
