Joint Powers Authorities and Health and Legal Consortia

Welcome to the Joint Powers Authorities (J.P.A.s), Health Insurance and Legal Consortia web site. Currently there are three J.P.A.s in operation at San Joaquin County Office of Education. These are the Data Processing Joint Powers Authority, San Joaquin County Schools Data Processing Center; the San Joaquin County Schools Property and Liability Insurance Group Joint Powers Authority; and the San Joaquin County Schools Workers’ Compensation Insurance Group Joint Powers Authority. San Joaquin County Office of Education also acts as the fiscal agent for the Health Insurance Consortium of San Joaquin and the San Joaquin Legal Services Consortium.
