Health Care Joint Powers Authorities

The San Joaquin Health Insurance Consortium of San Joaquin Care Joint Powers Authority was formed in 2007, by the San Joaquin County Office of Education, and school districts, and other member organizations within our county. The purpose of the Health Consortium JPA is to purchase, finance and administer self-insured medical, dental, and vision programs for employees of the member agencies. In addition, the JPA forms a buying consortium for fully-insured health benefit plans for its members.
