Joint Powers Authorities, and Health and Legal Consortia

Welcome to the Joint Power Agencies (J.P.A.s), Health Insurance and Legal Consortia web site. Currently there are three J.P.A.s in operation at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. They are Data Processing Joint Powers Authority; San Joaquin County Schools Data Processing Center; Health Care Joint Powers Authority; San Joaquin County Schools Property and Liability Insurance Group Joint Powers Authority; and San Joaquin County Schools Workers’ Worker's Compensation Insurance Group Joint Powers Authority; and Legal Services Joint Powers Authority. The San Joaquin County Office of Education also acts as the fiscal agent for the Health Insurance Consortium of San Joaquin and San Joaquin Legal Services Consortium.
